I just wanted to take the time to update you to a minor crisis we are experiencing and maybe save my self a few emails in the bargain. We are having a small issue with US customs at the moment and haven't gotten any shipments in since Wednesday of last week. Seems they changed the rules while four of our orders from the supplier were already in transit and now they are being held until some followup documentation can be forwarded to customs. We anticipate getting them in the next couple of days but it has put us behind in filling orders, especially the ones with the newer items from the last week and some regulars that just ran out of stock. Please bear with us and we promise we'll get the items shipped as soon as they are in our hands. Also, those of you who start an order and don't finish it for a day or so, please check the backorder page before you finish processing a Paypal cart. We just found out that if you put an item there and then we toggle it to backorder status, the cart will still let you order it. This doesn't help our backlog and will just frustrate you wondering what's taking so long. If you will check the list and remove an item that went backorder, you'll save us all a lot of frustration and grief. We apologize for the inconvience. We keep a stock of about 14,000 DVDs on hand at a time but it's the new items that we came up short on because of the large demand for them. We don't like this answer either and a refund is available upon request through email. Alright, now that my adoration of shiny celophane is out of the way. WE HAVE EVA PERFECT. Ahh.. that felt good. Got a good shipment of 40 sets of Eva and Eva TV / Movie and Eva Movies Perfects so those are all shipping to those of you who chose to wait and availabel to those now want it. We've gotten a lot of the items off the backorder listing and cut it in half and Monday we should be adding Love Hina Perfect TV / OVA (FX) today along with Detective Conan Movie: 12 Million Hostages (MI). Look for it. And we got word from the man himself that Hellsing Perfect (FX) is coming. For those that do not know the story the previous "FX" release was an FX made box for AV discs.. similat to One Piece. This is THEIR Perfect release of the show. Again, look for it. Well.. you can't order backordered items off the news page now. In the past if an item was put on backorder you could get around the code by ordering it from the news page. Now you can't, so it cuts down on accidental ordering of items that while they may have just come in.. were toggled to backorder status. We got about 3,000 DVDs in today.. so I'd venture to say that yes.. the shipping ways are safe to use again. A completed version of Gatekeeper OVA finally released in it's entirety. Also a complete version of a fan favorite hentai, G-Taste from (AV). Rave Groove Adventure has been released in a nice big 6 DVD format.. for those that don't already have it.. whee!.. for those that have already bought this series.. nothing new to see here move along. We are still carrying all formats of Rave.. the singles, the 3 DVDs Boxes and this new 6 DVD set for you to choose what packaging you prefer.    For those that have wondered at the lack of art updates. It appears that our artist has decided to go on hiatus for a long time and at this moment we have no knowledge of when she'll be back. So basically now that I get the sob story out of the way we're looking for a new graphics artist for the team. Location must be in the 50 states. Sorry to all you EXCELLENT international artists but we're keeping this in country for the reason that is about to follow. We were pay in product atm. So here's the deal.. If you are going to send an eCheck payment through PayPal we WILL be holidng the order until the check clears. Apparently these occurances all opened accounts paid us and then changed their information / closed the accounts before the checks cleared, thus hurting us because PayPal takes the money out of our hides and we lose the product. We know this hurts many you who have been faithful eCheck since the beginning but it's a necessary precaution to protect us from PayPal. We have several items that are at the end of their runs and will be discontinued as soon as the last one sells out. Don't be surprised when they disappear from the site. A couple of examples are the Hellsing Limited Edition (R3). This set was produced for sale in China and was always intended to be a limited release. We have three, never been unwrapped sets left and when they are gone, they're gone. Other titles include the Han Yori Dango movie, Senkai No Monsho Special, Zigokusenseinube Movie Hikaru No Go Vol's 1 & 2 and the Love Hina TV/OVA/FS bundle from MI. If you bought the original two DVDs you can either replace them with the new Vol 1.. or simply hold on to them and buy the new Vol 2 which picks up after the old Vol 2. Sounds complicated so read it a few times before buying if you got the old DVDs. New Prince of Tennis from MI out and Vol 2 of Spiral finally hitting our shelves. More Weiss Kreuz for all the fans as we've gotten Vol 1 of the new TV series and yet more Conan goodness. MI has released a COMPLETE Happy Lesson TV and no word yet on when AV will release a Vol 3 / Boxset and actually finish their run of the show. That's all the items news.    I am prone to fits of laziness so I'll be posting this information verbatim from email conference betwen myself and the now head reviewer, Mr. Torture. We are looking for two new reviewers and he'll be picking them because he'll be in charge of the quality of the reviews as we'd like to get the bar up a bit for how professional our reviews are seen and taken. -------------------------  Joseph,    I don't see any reason to stall on posting an update about the openings, so update about it whenever you get the chance. I'll be ready. When you do update, though, I would like some more information about the reviewers than just reviews. I'd like to know...    1) What type of DVD player(s) they have. A PC DVD drive, a standalone DVD player, a portable DVD player, etc. I'd also like to know, if they have a PC DVD drive, what software they use for watching DVDs.    2) Their preference of anime genres. I'd rather have a variety in tastes of anime so we don't get an overload of reviews for just one genre of anime's HKDVDs.    3) A little info on their knowledge of digital video.
