Miho Shinohara gets her chance when some little friends drop off a magical crayon that changes her life forever! 10-year old Miho is about to see what life is like as 15-year old Lala - pop star, model, and actress extraordinaire! With the ability to transform to Lala, Miho's life suddenly transforms into a magical fairytale but life as a normal girl and a pop star can be pretty crazy!
This anime is about a girl who somehow is chosen by 2 little dragons to..be able to transform into an older girl (for really no apparent reason..). They give her this magic pen and paper tablet so whatever she draws will become real, and she can use them. She usually makes clothes for herself, because she is later spotted by a woman to become a model and then possibly an actress.
I guess this is just a cutesy anime for younger people and they learn lessons throughout the series. I started to like it later on because there was this actor guy that seemed to like her. Unfortunately, I think it should've ended better, and I was a bit disappointed.
*But if you like the traditional cute girl with magic powers and adorable animals at her side, this is an anime you should choose!
Magical Stage Fancy Lala was first published in Ribon comics, I believe. (They also made Super Gals! and Full Moo wo Sagashite into anime..)
I watched the entire thing in subtitles, and they were perfect. The dubbed voices are yet again disturbing..;
The story flowed alright..It should have picked up sooner or continued. Sound and video were fine, too. I don't think any boy I know would watch this..=P
Note: I don't know why I bought this..I think it's because it was during Xmas and I could choose whatever, and it said it was perfect.
