Description
Yukihiko Tsutsumi's (Keizoku - The Movie) film was produced as a part of a cinematic duel between him and director Ryuhei Kitamura. Aside from the theme given to both films, which is "duel," it also shares some structural similarities with the rivaling director's film. Two actresses who share the same apartment audition for the same part. The resulting battle will determine not just who'll get the part, but who will be the last woman standing... Alive. The film is a fine example of cutting-edge cinema with plenty of wicked black humor and violence.

Written and directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi, 2LDK was the film which “dueled” Kitamura’s film Aragami in the “Duel” Film Project by Jam Productions.A fast-paced black comedy set in a 2LDK (2 bedroom, Living room, Dining Room, and Kitchen), the movie finds two actresses struggling to find a balance to . . .
2LDK is part of the "Duel Project," in which directors Yukihiko Tsutsumi and Ryuhei Kitamura (Versus) were each challenged to take one week and make a feature with two actors dueling in a single setting. Kitamura wrote and directed the samurai film Aragami, while Tsutsumi created the urban warfare story 2LDK about a rivalry between two roomates that goes way too far. A great film.
