Description
No one really knows what the 60 billion double-dollar-wanted-man named Vash really looks like, only what damage he has been fabled to have caused. Due to over 300 insurance claims filed by the inhabitants of the cities Vash the Stampede has supposedly demolished, the FIA has sent two claims inspectors - Meryl Stryfe & Milly Thompson - to find Vash and investigate/fine him for all the damage he has caused. Now Vash must not only deal with merciless bounty hunters, but hounding insurance companies too in a setting very reminiscent of such American westerns as Bonanza or Gunsmoke.

Vash the Stampede. The Humanoid Typhoon. The $$60,000,000,000 Man. He's a giant in a red coat with the power to level cities. But as Bernardelli Insurance Society Disaster Investigators Milly Thompson and Meryl Stryfe are about to find out, trouble follows Vash everywhere he goes. Bounty hunters, criminals . . .

Wolfwood has a portable, church-shaped confessional.

This is actually from the opening, when the sign is fading away. But how cool does it look?

Vash doesn't really look very dangerous. It's always the quiet ones, though.

Random picture of Milly Thompson, beautiful insurance agent.

I'm a sucker for Gil Kane up-the-nose poses.

It's heavy, because it's so full of mercy.

I LOVE this series and it was the first anime series I owned all of. The voice actors are excellent, the video is awesome! The subtitles are great. Even if your a purest when it comes to anime, watch it once in english because it is well worth it!

This is easily one of my favorite series, and this limited edition set most definately shows just how good it really is. I love watching this so much. All the characters are so full of emotion, and they grow onto you. The feelings that are launched from this are spine tingeling. One of the episodes thats like that to me (well a lot of them are) But one of the first really spine tingling is Angel Arms. You have to watch this if you love a good story and love to feel what the characters feel. And if you want to be entertained for hours!

This is possibly the best anime set I have ever purchased, I had absolutely no problems with the video or audio(I still haven't watched it in Japanese with subs but if they were handled like everything else on this disk im willing to bet that there great). In fact the only problem I did have with this set is that Ep.17. Rem Saverem was cut short by a few minutes. Other than that I recommend this set to anyone who enjoys good anime.
