Description
Higurashi Kagome, after being pulled down a well by a demon, finds herself in Feudal Japan, where she learns that a powerful jewel has been reborn inside her body. After the jewel shatters in an attempt to retrieve it from one of the many demons who was after its power, Kagome must join forces with the half-demon Inu Yasha (also after the jewel's power) to track down the shards of the jewel before its power falls into the wrong hands.
Story: A little cliched, but also has some unique elements. (can't get enough of that Inuyasha filler)
Characters: Classic Takahashi here. Every character has his/her moments, and most are downright hilarious. However, at the same time, it's not so comical that the dramatic moments seem ridiculous.
Video: Flawless. didn't notice any mistakes. You might even say it's better than the VIZ version since it's coded Region 0
Sound: Dubs aren't anything spectacular, but otherwise perfect sound. The soundtrack is great.
Subtitle: Excellent translation (well, duh, they aren't fansubs) the only bad part is the text is yellow and a little small. Makes it hard to read when you're sitting in bed at night.
overall, great set. The fact that you're looking at this probably means that you're considering it. trust me, don't hesitate, buy it! You won't regret it!
