It all starts with a dream…. While most people who see a giant, sticky cocoon might assume something similar to an alien (or gremlin) might emerge, this theory does not hold true in the small town of Guri. (Glie) Every time a new cocoon or sprout pops up, the townsfolk know all too well that . . .

Before I bought this anime I watched a few episodes I downloaded, and it really got to me because it was so different and animated in a nice way. The story is very developed, and you learn as you go along- The main character is as clueless as you which is a great touch in my opinion. The story is always moving along into an enriched plot, so there's no filler episodes or anything. I enjoyed this anime a lot because it had such a strange atmosphere at times yet sometimes it was happy and it was just very different than most series I have seen (and I have seen a lot..). I liked how they could throw some humor in though the characters were having it rough. But the characters really did develop as each episode passed. You learned about them more and more, finding out why they were there and everything. =) The video and sound was great- I didn't notice a single problem. Subtitles didn't have problems either= Perfect!! There were extras on both discs but they were just previews of other series.. I guess it's good that there were extras than none at all. The menus were average but better than some HK ones I've seen before. (This isn't HK dvds..) The dvd cover and cds were okay- They should've used better art. But all in all, this series is very recommended- It's by the same people as Lain I heard so you must watch and have a new experience with Haibane Renmei! (Just what is that anyway? Are they angels?) Find out & buy it ^^ Plus, it's very cheap! =D Anymore questions? IM me at Taisora@aol.com or e-mail at: cutiehoneyaly@hotmail.com Thanks for reading, guys =)
