If you want to get a feel for what the series is like without buying it you can get a pretty acurate gauge by checking this out. If you are a fan of the show already this will seal the deal for you. The movie is based around a terrorist attack using a bioengineered weapon created by the government. A rouge exarmy operative releases the "virus" into the population and only Spike, Faye, Jett, Edward, and Ein can stop it! Enjoyability: This movie is one of the best ova's in anime history! It has won many awards and the respect of otaku world wide. And for good reason. This movie opens with a bang and never lets up from there. The action is top notch and the comedy is what you would expect from the crew of the Beebop in every way. The closing fight in this series is one of legend. Even people new to anime could sit down and appreciate this one. Charachters: All of the charachters that make Cowboy Beebop rock are here. There are a couple of new additions in the form of a cold hearted villain psychopath and a sexy army operative also trying to apprehend him. Each charachter gets their time in the spotlight and adds to the overall appeal of this movie. Its like we get to go on side missions with each of them that ultimately links together to form a bigger picture. Video: The show has always used a high grade of animation and this ova holds up to that standard. In fact you could even say the animation is improved upon in many ways. There is a high speed aerial battle that will blow you away! This dvd was clear and bright with no distortion or loss of quality at all. Even Edwards orange hair will come across bright and vivid. Sound: The sound here is at its best with nothing at all to detract from watching this film. Every explosion, gunshot, and Edwards awesome song as she searches the web is clear as a bell. You'll feel like your getting shot at yourself as you watch it if you have a surround sound hook up. The jazzy feel of the music used only serves to make this film even cooler! Subtitle: The subtitles here are great! The dialouge in this is very important and if it was flawed the movie would be ruined. Fear not. You will easily be able to read and understand every word used in ths film. It is about as good as translations can get, and the pace is perfect. Buy this film for yourself and your closest friend or anyone you want to get into anime. They will thank you for it!

The DVD is flawless and is perfectly ripped! FX has done it again! Audio is perfect and so the video! I haven't watched the movie in japanese with subs yet, but as soon as I do I'll let yall know. The only thing different is the case isn't clear like on the picture to the side... ¬_¬ lol Enjoy!
