Untitled Document I loved this dvd set, it was great!! Absolutely perfect!!

Sound Quality : The sound quality was great! A++

- Has subtitled Japanese and the dub. (which is horrible sounding btw..)

Video Quality : Direct R1 rip! No problems here! Absolutely no pixelations on the 1 + 2 disc. I did notice some few quick scenes on the third disc and the extra video included is totaly pixelated, but it does not matter seeming that they added the same textless op in all three discs.

Subtitle Quality : The subs for this anime are perfect. No engrish, no missing lines, fluid and perfectly taken from the R1's. I did own some of the R1's and I noticed that the sub color is totaly different. In the original R1 they are yellow. A nasty yellow at that. It was very hard to read and I'm glad they changed it to white with black border. It's easier on the eyes.

Packaging Design : The packaging is good but not great. The back has a short summary of the series and a few pics in box format with glowing edges. Not what I'd do for a back cover, I've seen better. For example the backing to I my me strawberry egggs. That was great design. Probably because It was actually taken from R2 dvd cover and back art. ^.^. If anything I WOULD have loved to have seen a picture of Sailor Saturn on the back holding her glave, like some of those pretty pictures of her out there on the web. Nope, sorry gals and guys, No SATURN pics in this dvd set.

- When you open the gatefold, you see a episode listing for the entire series on both flaps. Nice touch. :)
- There are four dvd's in this set so there are four matching pannels.
- - The first dvd panel/dvd design is of Venus. Beautiful pic!!
- - The second and third dvd panel/dvd design is of all of the senshi minus saturn sitting on a roof. Nice pic.
- - The last dvd panel/dvd design is of Chibimoon. I think this pic is adorable. Still I WOULD have liked a pic of Saturn since she's vital to this series.

Overall score : B

Menus : Moving Menus taken directly from the R1 rips. Picked Sailor moon, Chibimoon, Mercury, and Venus each of the dvd's. Which I think is pretty smart seeming that those were for the most part the pics they chose for the inside. Or MAYBE that's why the chose pics of in particular Venus and Chibi Moon...

Extras : Same textless opening on all four of the discs. Heavily pixelated on the last disc.

Character Design : The same Sailor Senshi we know and love!! Great quality for something that came out in like 1994! I have to say that this series is one of the best looking series out of all of the 5 Sailor Moon Seasons. (aside from stars that is, but stars was way to dark in general -character color wise.).

Story Quality : This is my favorite season of Sailor Moon. I think it's better than Sailor Stars. (SMSS comes in second!) IT'S GREAT!!!

Enjoyablity :
BUY IT NOW~!! Will be a family favorite for ages to come!

What can I say? This was a great set. I got the Sailor Moon Vol 1, which left a little bit of something to be desired; Then I recieved Sailor Moon Vol 2, which was better; Then I bought this, Sailor Moon S TV, which was wonderful. The quality was A+++; The subtitles, which are slightly different (and more enjoyable and controversial) from the english dub were perfect. Each of the four discs had easy menus. My only complaint about the menus is the "extra" area when you enter it only plays the japanese version of the opening credits. *sigh* o well. Minor pixellation (sp?) in a few areas; I only noticed them because I was purposely looking for them. I enjoyed the artwork on the discs/set. In this set, the Sailor Soldiers are fighting against the Death Busters (Heart Snatchers) for pure hearts, which they are trying to collect to 'feed' the Messiah of Silence that will bring destruction to the world. Sailor Saturn and Pluto are also introduced towards the end. Even a little photo of Neo Queen Serenity and her king are shown as well. Rini comes back into the scene as an order from the Neo Queen, her mother. I laughed, I cried (well, okay, I didn't, but some of you might.) Most of the episodes caught my attention. Chapter Breaks after the preview, opening song, half the episode, and after the ending credits makes it easy to navigate. I highly reccomend it, and its a no-brainer for the Sailor Moon fans.
