Description
Higurashi Kagome, after being pulled down a well by a demon, finds herself in Feudal Japan, where she learns that a powerful jewel has been reborn inside her body. After the jewel shatters in an attempt to retrieve it from one of the many demons who was after its power, Kagome must join forces with the half-demon Inu Yasha (also after the jewel's power) to track down the shards of the jewel before its power falls into the wrong hands.
I loved it , the things Inuyasha says can be a little graphic as is some of the fight scenes (blood and stuff). Never worse than some hollywood movies though.

Very good anime. The Dvds here are superb. Everything is exactly like the domestic release but it's much cheaper. Subs are very good but they tend to be different from the dubs at times (like most anime). i put both on just to listen to the differences.

perfect every thing i love this anime , the only reason i gave it a 9 for story quality is because tho the story is verry good it doest start getting great till the last few eps and ito the next box set

Instead of buying a DVD of Inuyasha at the store for $25 with only 3 episodes..You should buy this set. It's exactly the same as in stores- The menu, the extras, the scene splits, everything. I think the only problem was that when you clicked for it to be in japanese it didn't function- So you have to just press the audio button on your remote and it works. I think that was only on the first cd..either way, it still works and is perfect.
The thing I hate about Viz for originally distributing the DVDs is that they don't subtitle the intro or the ending- Even on the DVDs at the store. It's a shame since this series has great music. The story is really nice and tons of cliffhangers for more enjoyment. I like the characters and how they're drawn. There's not that many filler episodes either. =) I recommend this set if you want perfect subtitles and want to hear the dubbing..Which is pretty funny. Kaede sounds SO terrible... Sometimes I switched the audio just to hear how they changed the wording. There was even a scene where they totally changed what they really said! I was sad because I think it's hilarious when they insult Inuyasha for his choice in clothing! XD
Anyway- Sound and Video quality is perfect, too.
It's perfect- So there. Buy it!
