Steven Spielburg once called "Castle of Cagliostro" the greatest adventure movie of all time, and he was right on target in my opinion. An earlier work of Oscar winning director Hayao Miyazaki, this film is one of Lupin's greatest capers. A casino heist gone slightly awry leads Arsne Lupin and his partner . . .
Screenshots
Even Lupin and Jigen have to go outside for a cigarette.
Goemon's here too, and he actually looks Japanese for a change
Fujiko has a video camera, and Zenigata looks like a real cop!
Everything is better with ninjas.
Here's a better shot of Fujiko, with her hair up this time.
Just about everything is perfect! I bought it expecting the enjoyabilty of Lupin III and I got exactly what I wanted. It's a wonderful addition to your collection, and worth a lot more than 8$. For this price it's an absolute steal!
Sound-Here and there it gets soft, but I've had this problem with Region 1 before so nothing abnormal.
Video-No choppiness, no pixelation, just clear Lupin.
Chararcters-All funny, all great.
Enjoyability-Kept me interested the entire time!
Subtitle-My dvd player downstairs had no remote, so I couldnt turn off the subs, but it wasnt bad considering they were just about right on.
Story-Interesting. Original, yet at the same time able to predict what was going to happen. But still great.
