Description
This Okinawan sextet HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR group is comprised of MEG (guitar), KAZUTO (guitar), SASSY (drums), mACKAz (bass), YUSUKE (vocals), and MAKI (vocals). This band's recipe for success is as simple as it is original: dual male and female vocals, twin guitars, and a great rhythm section. Add to that their unique upbringing in Okinawa, with close proximity to a U.S. Army base and plenty of exposure to American culture and music, the result of that mixture is both melodic and heavy. A truly one of a kind sound among major Japanese acts, comparable to that of Linkin Park or Evanescence.
In January of 2005, their debut single was released. The song PRIDE was featured in the popular TV anime series GUNDAM SEED DESTINY and it debuted at number 2 on the Japanese Oricon chart.
Not out to impress anyone, the group intends to keep on making the kind of music they believe in.
